The zoo had a free day last week so we decided to go with a friend to look at all the cool animals. We arrived just after they opened and it was already crowded with people and kids running around. I wasn't too sure how the day would go with crowds and a missed morning nap. Overall it actually was a fun day and Rachel really enjoyed seeing all the animals. BTW yes that is an alligator she is looking at through the porthole.
One of the animals she did not care to get too close to were the goats so we didn't get any pictures. She loved them a few months ago (I have proof if you look at a previous post) before she could walk but not so much now. She would walk up to one, stand about 2 feet away and then come running back to me. She did not want to sit next to them or touch them at all. Oh well we will have to try again some other time. For now it is watching from afar that she enjoys most.
