We went to the park last week with our Itty Bitty friends and had lots of fun on the playground. We went down the slide, banged on some drums and bells, then walked all over the place until we came to a big hill. Rachel's little buddies were all running and nose diving down the hill with so much excitement so I decided walk her over to see what she thought of it all. Well it took her awhile to get her to walk from the playground to the hill because she want to stop and look at the grass, the trees, the birds, the leafs. I forget sometimes how new everything is to her especially now that she is walking and getting more curious.
We finally made it to the hill and she wasn't really having any of it. I picked her up and we got to the top of the hill where we saw a cute doggie. She didn't care anything about hills, grass, trees, but the dog she saw. Any time she sees a dog she points and squeals which then turns into a dooog. She says dog but it's long and drawn out which is so cute.
Anyways, I had to hold her hand and together we walked back down the hill. There was so nose diving, face plants or running, just mommy and Rachel holding hands while slowing making our way down the hill. It's funny how prissy and girly she is at such an early age. The purse, the shoes, not wanting to get dirty or roll down hills...
