Bunnies, Chicks, and Eggs

We went to a few easter playdates this month and had lots of fun with our friends and some furry animals too. Rachel loved hunting eggs and has collected just a few and are now scattered throughout my house. She is easily entertained by placing them in the basket and taking them out and so on.

This easter we not only did a few egg hunts but we got to learn about our friends tradition called, Cascarones. It is a mexican tradition that entails decorating eggs and hollowing them out so they can be filled with confetti. You are suppose to break the eggs on top of other's head for good luck but we let the kids break them on the sidewalk instead. Rachel really enjoyed this!

Next we got together with another playgroup and got to pet real bunnies and chicks. Rachel wasn't too sure about the bunny but she eventually gave him a nice pat on the back.
