I've been wanting to take a trip out to Austin for quite sometime. I wasn't too impressed when we went to San Antonio so I didn't have high expectations when we decided to check out Austin. My expectations were well exceeded, so much that I want to move there. Yes, that's right. It's an outdoor lovers paradise and not to mention the tree hugger (not really but Richard seems to think so) inside of me was so inthralled with the fact that Austin is so eco-friendly.
Anyways, we had a great time exploring the parks, downtown, and even the State Capital. I must add in here though that traveling with a toddler definitely gives a new spin on vacations. She didn't take naps but only in the car and getting her to sleep in her pack n' play at night was a joy. Also, while on vacation she picked up on how to verbally tell us "NO, NO!" Fun times!
