Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, Richard and Rachel went to a cupcake store in Houston and bought a ton of cupcakes for me. Red Velvet, Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry. They were delicious! I'm not sure who enjoyed them more, me or Rachel.

After Alex woke up from his nap we all went to the park in Houston and then had lunch at Panera Bread. During the kids afternoon nap Richard stayed home while I went to the salon to get a much needed pedicure. When Rachel woke up from her nap she saw my pink toes (which is her favorite color) and asked me how did I get pink on my toes. I told her the lady at the salon did it and she said, "Cool!" Then she says to me that she wants pink toes too. Oh boy! She cracks me up.

We ended the day with a perfect dinner that Richard prepared on the grill, steaks and veggies. I had such a pleasant day with my family.
