Day Out with Thomas in Burnet, TXOctober 3, 2010
We rode on Thomas and had a fun day with our friends. We stayed in Austin, TX for the weekend and meet our friends for dinner the night before. The next day we were so tired because nobody slept well. Rachel did not want to sleep in the car on our way to Austin (3 hour drive). She did not want to go to sleep in the hotel either. I finally got her to sleep in the king size bed but the problem was she kept me up all night. Richard slept on the pull-out couch in the suite. You would think a king size bed would be plenty of room for her and myself but she tossed, turned, flipped, and kicked me in the back ALL NIGHT. We basically decided not to take another trip again for a long time. We were exhausted! Alex did great though, he was a perfect baby the whole time.
