Growing Like a Weed

I've been busy and haven't posted new photos (shame on me) but here they are. Rachel is now 10.5 weeks old and growing like a weed. She started off at 6 lbs 12 oz at birth and now she's 11 lbs 4 oz. I can't believe how fast babies grow and how much they change in such a short period of time. She is fast approaching 3 months and I don't know where the time has gone.
The first 6 weeks were really tough for me and I thought I would never see the light at the end of the tunnel. However, she is sleeping better now only waking up once during the night, sometimes not at all. She smiles and her whole face lights up. Her baby sounds are so adorable and I just love to hear her "talk." She is becoming more and more aware of the world around her. We now venture out to malls, stores, mom's groups, and have lots of fun discovering new things. She's very social and alert much to my surprise at such a young age. She now has better control of her arms and legs. She'll suck her hands and even her thumb. She'll kick her legs and wiggle around like jello. She's holding her head up and can look around while on her tummy.
I'm enjoying motherhood more and more each day and I look forward to watching her grow. I'm so curious to see what kind of little person she'll become. If she is anything like her mommy & daddy then oh no better watch out :)
